Laurence Raybois is the author of Chez Moi: the foreigner's guide to buying a home in France. She founded Americans Move to France when she observed that American families frequently need specialized and essential services after relocation. Some had problems arranging for their children's education while in France. Frequently, professionals needed assistance having their credentials recognized in France and needed to obtain the necessary work permits.
As a French person who lives and works in both countries, she has consulted and intervened on both sides of the Atlantic and helped numerous individuals and their families become successful residents of France. Laurence works exclusively on American-French integration.
She regularly lectures on, both in the US and in France, on topics relevant to Americans moving to France. She teaches a 7-hour seminar to people wishing to purchase a home in France.
Laurence was born, raised and educated in France. She moved to the US over 20 years ago, and for the past 10 years has been sharing her time between the two countries.
